Website privacy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This website uses no cookies, has no analytics or ads and loads nothing from other domains (the YouTube videos on the planet pages only if you tap one). The only thing it stores in your browser is the language you pick. The game has its own page: Orbit privacy policy.
Controller
Daniel Rodríguez Cabrera (FastDator), [email protected]. My other details are in the legal notice.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, run by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any server, Cloudflare receives your IP address and the technical details of each request (browser, page requested, time) to serve the page and protect it from attacks. I have no access to those records one by one: the Cloudflare dashboard only shows me aggregated visit figures.
Cloudflare also asks your browser to tell it if a page fails to load (Network Error Logging). That report goes straight to Cloudflare. Cloudflare is a US company that takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the basis for this processing is my legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
More details in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The language you pick
If you switch language with the menu, the site saves your choice in your browser’s local storage (fastdator.lang) to remember it next time. It never leaves your device, it isn’t a cookie, and it goes when you clear this site’s data in your browser.
If you email me
If you send me an email, I handle your address and what you tell me only to reply. Mail to [email protected] is received by Cloudflare (Email Routing), which forwards it to the mailbox where I read it; both handle it on my behalf.
The basis is your consent when you write and my legitimate interest in replying. I keep emails for as long as the conversation lasts and at most 12 months after the last message.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, Google Play or the AEPD lead to sites with their own policies. This site loads nothing from them until you click the link.
YouTube videos
The Planets of Orbit pages show my YouTube videos. Until you tap one, the site loads nothing from YouTube: only an image hosted here. When you tap, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and Google receives your IP address and the technical data of the request; what it does next is governed by its own privacy policy.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by tapping the video. If you would rather not load it here, every video has its link to YouTube. More in Google's privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data protection”. If you’re not happy with my reply, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes
If the site adds anything that handles data (a newsletter, say), I’ll change this page first and put the date at the top.
